Below are some examples of my work that have gone to print. I've designed a lot of projects over the past 20 years, so it's impossible and probably boring to list them all.
And, like children, it's impossible to pick a favorite. (Except for my mom. I know it's me. Don't tell my sister.)
City of Virginia Beach:
During the summer, the city of Virginia Beach has live entertainment along the boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue. Walk down either one and look to the lamp posts. You'll see my banners directing locals and tourists where to go. (Not these particular banners... shows update every year, so look for all new banners!)
GVI:
Providing top tier entertainment to Hampton Roads is hard work. It's only right that they get top tier art to go with it. Logos, scenic art, banners, musical score covers... there's not much that this company doesn't need when it comes to print.
Fitness 24-7:
A local gym needed some help moving from standard Microsoft Word documents that they sent out to clients to something a little more eye catching. They wanted bold colors and a lot of info packed into every page.
Regent University:
An institution with prestige, class, and the need for a designer occasionally who can produce faster than their in-house department. It's an honor to be able to step in on those occasions and help out.
NCTA:
The Newborn Care Training Academy started nearly a decade ago and is still going strong. After designing an online school for them (like waaaay before the pandemic forced everyone to do it) they went to publish their training manuals for in-person classes. They needed a book cover, so they turned to their favorite graphics person, who was also their favorite web designer.
BLVD bistro:
This was a wonderful little diner on Virginia Beach Blvd. They needed help with marketing, so they got a new website, full photo shoot, and the occasional flyer to hand out. Sadly the pandemic took it's toll and they're no longer with us, but those fried deviled eggs will live on in my heart.
Phoenix Equipment:
Phoenix is a heavy equipment company providing maintenance, rentals, and sales of equipment in Hampton Roads. Starting about a year ago, they needed everything from a website to business cards, even some pretty nice embroidered hats.
They're a one stop shop for heavy equipment, I'm a one stop shop for all things media. It's a perfect partnership.
Tapestry Church:
A new church in the city. They hit the ground running with their own teaching materials and a lot of unique opportunities to be seen. We've produced books, fliers, clothing, videos, banners... you name it, we've probably done it in the past year and a half. Below are just some of the things we've produced. Books authored by Pastor Gary Spell and Dr. Dana Cavallaro.
PJ Hawkins:
PJ (Pastor Joy) Hawkins is a long time educator and children's pastor. Recently she decided to dive into the world of children's literature. With her first book in publication she was ready to hit set up merchandise tables at book stores where she was doing live readings and autographs. Like with most people I work with, her favorite web designer became her favorite graphic designer.
London Bridge Baptist:
Serving on staff for 15 years, I wore many different hats. For the most part, I was the Director of Media and Publications. I have so many hard drives full of work from LBBC. Picking a few things is hard, so I'll stick with a couple of highlights from my last few years.
